Francesco Pignatelli - UOMO

A fluid dialogue, which suspends temporal distances by moving between the works - and within them - to tell the story of a Man among men, the most represented figure in Western painting: Jesus Christ.

The exhibition presents a work in 33 episodes - the years of Christ's life - created by the contemporary artist Francesco Pignatelli. His visual language is a language of synthesis, which in the essentiality of its elements, succeeds in merging together realism and symbolism, giving a tangible, precise form to the artist’s wish to tell about Christ becoming a man, the greatest act of sacrificial love.

The works were exhibited in four different locations in the city of Pietrasanta, a sort of journey that guided the viewer to discover every single image/episode of this fascinating travel.
